Canada’s largest film event dedicated entirely to Black cinema, the MIBFF showcases a diverse selection of films from around the globe. The 2025 edition features 70 films from 20 countries, including nearly 40 Canadian titles. Highlights include the opening film Hedda by Nia DaCosta, executive produced by Brad Pitt and starring Tessa Thompson. Takes place at various locations in Montreal.
